  1. We got started meal planning because of budgetary needs, food sensitivities, and a frustration with generally feeling awful all the time. Meal planning lets us meet those goals. We usually do leftovers for lunch, and rarely eat the same thing all week. Programmer husband took our planning digital and made a meal planner that puts our planning habits in the digital space. Meal planning is a hard skill to learn, and there’s really no wrong way to go about it. Keep up the good work!

  2. Thank you for this post. I am in the routine of the following this week:
    B. Plain Greek yogurt, almonds, and frozen blueberries in a small mason jar.
    L: Brown rice bowl: baked chicken, brown rice, and vegetable
    Snack: raw veggie plate/tupperware with 2 boiled eggs or hummus
    Snack: protien shake (premade) in the blender bottle that hangs out in the freezer until ready
    Dinner (if I am still hungry): Bean and cheese burrito (frozen and made in bulk last month) with Greek yogurt and salsa
