Teaching on ketones has been insightful. I have used a lot of different eating regiments, but keto and meal prep has been the longest with the most insight.
The point behind going into a ketogenic lifestyle for me was the extended energy benefits, better sleep and mental clarity. It’s can’t be over lookes. You do feel better. With that, the feedback from eating poorly is very loud. When I eat off plan or extend a bad eating choice way past my intention, I feel it quickly. Great feedback in the regard.
Being that this year is so different from previous, I’m finding the “fat fueled lifestyle” more useful. Hunger and snack attacks have gone down. I am not nearly as anxious through the day. With all the changes and different-ness to the year don’t seem overwhelming as much as just plan challenges to be addressed.
Then to tag meal prep in with this eating way of life and I’m very content. Meal prep and planning is my jam. Knowing what I have to eat, not stressing where I am going to find a meal is very relaxing. I have been exploring ways to involve more people into prepping and planning their meals. We’ll see how successful I am.
