As we say goodbye to 2022 and look forward to 2023, there is a sense of hope and excitement in the air. The past year has been filled with challenges and difficulties, but we have also seen incredible acts of bravery, resilience, and kindness.
As we enter the new year, let us remember the words of Isaiah 43:18-19: “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
2023 is a year of new beginnings, a time to let go of the past and embrace all that the future has in store. It is a time to dream big and set our sights on the things that truly matter – love, compassion, and a sense of purpose.
But as we move forward, let us also remember the importance of humility and gratitude. As Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
In 2023, let us strive to live out the words of Colossians 3:23-24: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
As we look forward to the new year, let us be filled with hope and excitement for all that is to come. Let us embrace the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead, and let us always remember the love and guidance of our Lord.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” as it says in Philippians 4:13. Let us trust in this truth and have a positive, upbeat attitude as we enter 2023 with courage and determination.
